Product labels for the identification of blood preserves
In addition to the labelling of blood preserves, the product labels have various other functions when using the blood product. Part of the label set is glued directly to the manufacturer’s product label on the blood bag, certain individual labels from the label set are required for documentation during the transfusion.
Identification of test tubes with barcode labels
In blood donation, barcode labels for the unambiguous identification, identification, documentation and tracking of blood preserves have become indispensable. Self-adhesive, tamper-proof labels with corresponding test reports and certificates of the raw material used are, in addition to process-reliable production and permanent quality controls, the basic prerequisite for supplying customers in the blood donation sector.
Before a blood transfusion, the tolerability of the donor and recipient blood is required by law. The cross-sample labels are used to detect a serological compatibility test carried out.
The cross-sample labels can also be glued directly to the film (membrane) of blood bags. The adhesive used is regularly tested by an independent testing laboratory, it contains no plasticizers and is diffusion-free.
